World Series of Poker takes card game to Facebook

The World Series of Poker will soon let card players chase virtual gold bracelets on Facebook and other social networks. The series known for poker’s richest tournament has launched a Facebook application allowing players to compete in virtual no-limit Texas Hold ‘em battles. But the virtual games cost no money, unlike the high-stakes series of tournaments held in Las Vegas each year.
